New Flooring
The floor in this converted garage apartment needed to be covered. The designer chose a white flooring from Ikea and the whole floor start to finish was done in 2 days.

Custom Bi-fold Closet Doors
The opening to these closets wasn't standard size. The client chose to have quality solid doors installed and the cost of ordering custom doors on line was approximately $2,500 for just the unfinished doors. (shipping, tax and construction) I was able to custom craft both sets from scratch, prime, paint AND install the doors for $1,600. And that includes the cost of the commercial grade door hardware.

Floor Leveling
From the same project as the new flooring above, there was an alcove that is used for the bed. Problem is that it sloped badly in all directions, but mainly to the entrance of the nook. It was almost a full inch off in level from front to back. The solution? I sealed up the space and poured self-leveling compound. The result is a perfectly level space that a floor can now be laid on.

Retaining Wall & Fence Repair
very well The fence post had lost it's base from dry rot and fallen over. I took up the decking and found that the retaining wall had been completely disintegrated due to dry rot. After repairing the retaining wall, I replaced the post and rebuilt the remaining portion of the fence.

New Range Vent Hood
Pretty straight forward. The old hood didn't go with the new range so it was changed out.

Bathroom Vanity Instillation
The customer ordered the cabinets and was having the vanity top fabricated. There are three separate pieces screwed together and the sides scribed to the wall for a perfect fit.

Shower Glass Wall Install:
This shower was in need of some nice accent pieces. It was tiled very well, but it needed a soap tray, shower nozzle holder and a swinging glass door to keep the water in. It really pulled the whole look together!
New Mail Slot:
The tenant at this apartment was having his mail stolen from his mailbox that was located on the outside of his door. The solution the owner agreed to was to install a mail slot in the door to eliminate any chance of theft in the future. Plus I think it looks really nice on the door!
Custom Built in Benches:
These benches were very challenging due to the fact that the client wanted built in file cabinet drawers built in to the base. I built them from scratch and stained them to the exact finish of the existing cabinetry in the kitchen.
Upholstered Walls
Upholstered walls are beautiful, but there is absolutely NO room for error when working with them. This bathroom has beautiful blue upholstered walls and already had electrical boxes installed for sconces. It turned out really nice!
Cat Window
Even though I'm a dog person, this proved to be like carpenter catnip. It ended up to be a really fun project for a very nice client! She said her cats were glued to watching the crack of light that came under the door. She felt bad that was all they could look at while she was working. So she wanted to have a 4" X 12" or so plexi window installed at the bottom of the door so they could have entertainment all day! Kind of like cat cable TV!

Landing Repair:
Rain and mold rotted this front porch. The steel plate put in by the owners only gave a temporary reprieve from major repair. It all needed to be replaced once I brought up the boards for repair.

Cabana Trim:
This cabana was only 8 months old when major cracks and sagging started to occur. It wasn't properly supported in the center and as it sagged the trim that was screwed to the frame cracked. I braced the center with a 4X4 and pier block and replaced all the trim on the exterior.

Deck Repair:
Again, rot and poor maintenance did this deck in. It all needed to come up and be replaced. I added some more support with a 2X6 for extra stability.

Fireplace Completion:
A client had hired a "wayward soul" to build a fireplace for him. Problem is that he never finished it. It sat like you see it in the first picture for over a year until they called me to come to take care of it. It had to be taken back apart and attached to the fireplace properly. I also milled the mantle myself, sparing the client from sourcing one himself and saving him a lot of money.

Old Office Demolition:
This client bought a house with half the garage framed off for use as an office. My client had no use for this and wanted a full two car garage to use. I demolished it in one day.
